Can someone explain the coffee scale like I’m 5?

I’m new here. Please don’t yell at me.
The sleeves have a scale of 1-11. I ordered the beginner’s discovery pack with 6 sleeves. But they are all 7.7 ounces. I’m not really understanding the difference between them.

Top Comment: Welcome to our very delicious coffee-worshipping cult! The scale has nothing to do with the size a pod brews. It’s about the intensity of the brew. For example, my husband likes strong, dark coffee, so he chooses pods with a higher number — 9 to 13. I like lighter coffees with cereal/biscuit notes, so I choose pods with a lower number on the scale — generally, no higher than a 6 or so. The other number, given in ounces on the pod and on the box, is the volume it brews: 1.35 0z is an espresso shot, 2.7 oz is a double shot, 5.something is a lungo, and 7.7 oz. is a full cup of coffee, sized to fit in a regular mug with cream or milk. Enjoy! It’s good stuff. I was happily surprised by it after briefly using a Keurig years ago. All that coffee tasted like diluted swamp water.

I have an espresso machine which I've tuned well enough for a stable espresso shot but I have no experience with flavoring. Any recommendation on how to bring out the best flavor with this? Trying to make a 12oz drink with a double espresso shot

buy a bottle of vanilla, hazelnut and orange syrups. Buy some cinnamon powder. Pull shots and add 1/2 oz of each syrup, and then powder some cinnamon on top. Mix and then add milk.
Taste, add any extra syrup (write down the ratio you add) until you get the flavor you like. If it has too much orange then drop to 1/4oz for example.
I'm pretty sure they didn't add real orang zest to the drink unless you had chunks or orange skin in the drink. They likely zest several oranges and then make either an extract or syrup. If you want to do this add 2 cups of water to a pan, zest say 5 oranges and boil it. Then add 2 cups of sugar and taste. Zest more oranges if it's week, or add a 1:1 ratio of sugar and water until you get the flavor.
Type of cinnamon likely wont matter unless you have a very refined pallet. If you have money buy the better product otherwise the cheaper stuff will do.
